According to CBS' Jason La Canfora, free agent Jared Cook "appears to have no future" in Tennessee.
This directly contradicts what ESPN's Paul Kuharsky postulated earlier this month, as the former Titans' beat writer said he "fully expects" Tennessee to franchise tag its perennially under-utilized tight end. Cook would be due an affordable $5.962 under the tag. La Canfora "would expect" former Titans coach Jeff Fisher to target Cook for the Rams if he reaches the open market. I'm more curious if Chiefs will FTag Albert. I'm sure Clady won't get tagged... Bennett and Fred Davis are other FA possibilities along with Heath Miller, so there are options out there, hopefully we get at least one

ESPN's Adam Schefter says impending free agent WR Danny Amendola signing with the Patriots is "definitely possible."
Amendola is clearly Sam Bradford's go-to guy and is still just 27 years old, but his inability to sustain health could prevent the Rams from making a pricey long-term commitment. Using the franchise tag on Amendola would put them right up against the salary cap. Meanwhile, the Patriots have been tight-lipped on their plans for their own free agent slot man, Wes Welker. There were usage signs early in the year that they were preparing to move on. Schefter calls Amendola a "poor man's, younger, cheaper Welker." here is a idea say the patriots decide to release brandon lloyd would you guys consider bringing him back? i would only at the right price, i would not break the bank for him i would give maybe a little under 5 a year when he was with us he and sam had a pretty good relationship on the field
