We didn't have the money anyways..Plus we can get him next off-season where we will have a ton of cap space..And even more thanks to Jason Smith re-doing his contract...We will have the ammo to make the trade and the money to give him a long-term deal...Unless we get lucky with this draft and WR wont be a need next year...I don't know about you guys but I am getting super excited about this draft!!!

actually we have over 9.5 million under the cap now so getting wallace wasnt totally out of the question but we still wuldnt have gone for him imo

Actually, the reason we have so much cap space next year is that 2012 is the last year for a lot of people's contracts...including Long and 'Itis...
