not a fan of Witsel, no interest here

Have you ever really watched him? Kid has more than half of Europe interested in him lol. He's impressed me more in his 1 season than Ramires did in his 1 season. And we all know how well Ramieres has turned out for you guys lol. Between Witsel, Gaitan, and Javi Garcia, they could net Benfica a combined 110M euros this off season. perhaps even more. Witsel would likely cost between 35 and 40M euros though which while he's worth it may be too much for Chelsea to pony up. A lot of people continue to underrate the stars of the Superliga even though 90% of the time they pan out to be stars everywhere else lol. Hulk will be great for Chelsea but Chelsea is going to overpay out the *** for him. He's not worth anywhere near 50M pounds. Gaitan was a more lethal offensive player this season and a better overall player, he only continues to get better and he's going to cost almost half of that. Also the other guy to look at is Porto's Rolando. Probably the best CB in Portugal right now, and can play the flank. He'd be a good option for you guys at the CB/RB spot and wouldn't cost nearly as much as Hulk either lol. Idk.. I'm just angry as to how Benfica always gets decent vcalu but Porto always manages to rip teams to shreds in negotiations lol.

exactly, if we are indeed paying that much for Hulk, I have no interest in overpaying for any more players that are unproven in the prem. Already risking a bit with Hulk, although I have faith in him to be a success with us.

And fair enough, I havn't really watched him (bar v Chelsea and v England), but there would be others I'd prefer if we'd have to spend big. He seems alright, but I think we can do better. Also, United have been linked with him havn't they?

Yeah both United and Chelsea. AC Milan I believe has aswell. Rio Ferdinand has been supposedy pushing for Witsel. He made a tweet a while back saying he believed Witsel would be a top player in a few years.

Also, I believe Hulk will be a success aswell. Just his play RIGHT NOW isn't even worth 50M pounds lol, that's what I mean. He's great but he's not THAT great ya know?
