    Fad diet discussion #3 Body by Vi

    I did a few of these in the past. My facebook wall is covered with women talking about body by vi which I guess is some shakes. One girl who's not that big said her waist line is down 3" after the first week. Anyone know anyone who did this or did you do it?

    I want to make a facebook post everyday that says I lost 60 pounds ask me how. And when they ask I'm going to say this new thing called exercise it's all the rage, and a little help from a technique I like to call put down the fork and eat less calories then you burn in a day.

    again, i don't like this. haha. all i did was take a quick look at the nutritional label. looks just like a protein shake, without the protein. only 12 grams a serving and some vitamins is all i really see.

    Yea make no mistake i'm not think it's a good idea or would entertain doing it or recommending it. Just like to bring up discussions like this and see if others have done it. More to talk about something different then workout logs and the long stimulant and what you are eating thread

    I hate fad/trend diets. They come and go faster than a hooker who just got paid.

    Not really a diet, but I've started to drink two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar a day. It's supposed to help with weight loss, but has lots of other health benefits as well.

    Vinegar does have some health benefits to it.

    When is the new fad diet gonna be "Eat just below your calorie maintenance and go to the gym"?

    Unreal how in this day and age accurate information just doesn't make it's way to the general public.

    I've been telling my mom for the longest time her low fat diet is very unhealthy and that fat is very good. She was so blinded by the media pushing low fat everything that she wouldn't believe me. She finally went to some "natural doctor" or something (believe me I thought he was a kook but it turns out he actually knows his stuff) and the first thing he told her was "eating fat =/= gaining fat, fat is good for you". So now she believes it.

    Got about 100 other examples of stuff I've heard at the gym, or stuff the overweight ladies I used to work with would say. None of them ever just accepted they needed to eat less or workout more, nope it was always some new magical thing that would definitely work and surprisingly never did.
