I'm not sure how the nba one worked but elliot friedman just said on pts that if he wants the remaining money he will waive. or else he can kiss it goodbye.
also i didnt know of his friendship with allaire, that just fits everything together now.
Burke doesnt like long deals, so he says no to luo. until allaire threatens to retire because of the lack of goaltending talent, which forces burke to go out and get him. Luo gets us to the playoffs and then chokes and we run him outta town and then he gets into the hall of fame while we're still looking for a #1 tender.
