The question isn't just should Orlando miss the playoffs, it's also could they even if they wanted to.
The answer is that even if they were totally determined to, it's pretty damn unlikely they could.

Even if they lose the rest of the way and finish 34-32, Milwaukee would have to get to 35-31 to pass them (catching them isn't enough as Orlando won the season series and thus the tiebreaker 4-0). That means Milwaukee need to go 6-1, and they're trailing Indy late in the 3rd tonight with @IND, vsPHI, @BOS to go.

If Orlando win just one game Milwaukee need to go 7-0, which might be ruled out in as little as half an hour. Orlando still have vsCHA, @CLE, vsPHI which are potentially winnable games.

Yeah, they are gonna still get in and probably end up with the 16 or 17th pick (which might not be too horrible in a draft such as this)

The only team that loses to Charlotte repeatedly is Toronto.

This is a stupid, stupid thread.

    No.

End of story. They could tank, and lose every game, and probably still make the playoffs. And the difference between draft picks isn't worth missing the playoffs for...

If they won't have Home Court Advantage they shouldn't even play basketball.

Should JB be forced to completely retire if Orlando makes the playoffs?

Wouldn't Milwaukee have to basically win out and Orlando lose out for this to even be a possibility?

Well I thought about it because te year they got Shaq they missed the playoffs by one game and then got the top pick and got Webber which they traded and got Penny.
