For some reason I keep coming up with names with an "s" on the end. Rare, but most seem to fit.

Yes, this line "Streetcars" and "crawfish" fit, but those aren't realistic names, so let's put those aside. I think the best name is probably going to revolve around "heat" as in relation to food, or jazz/music.

Bullsht. What makes the bobcats fit in utah better than Jazz? Not Utah's problem other orgainizations cant manage to stay in one location and/or picked stupid mascots.

This just in... Timberwolves want LA to give up the "Lakers" since it has nothing to do with LA and the team originated in Minniapolis. They want their name back, sorry Lakers fans looks like you'll be the LA Timberwolves from here on out since that works as well as "bobcats" it Utah

What??? at one time they were the new orleans jazz. it just makes more sense. i don't assosate jazz with utah.also bobcats are a native species of utah so it would actually make a lot of sense.

i dont think the "hurricanes" is a good name for new orleans at all, in any scenario. can you imagine the people of that town screaming "Go Hurricanes" or "Yay Hurricanes"? i didnt think so
