so how much cap dis this save us? And for those wishing for defensive players our first 2 picks will be in for a rude awakining. Were definitly going to put 2 more bonafied players on offense for manning which I dont mind like hill and miller. Aslong as its all d after that. But jenkings is intrigueing, nobody locked down great wrs like jenkings. But I think were going to give peyton more toys

I honestly don't think we'll go defense twice. I think it'll probably be 1 and 1. With him being released, it does give a slight glimpse of going after Jenkins though. I agree with you, he's a very promising CB if he doesn't get himself into more trouble.

goodman will get another job as a number two, hes just not a man cb when we play alot of man, hes a zone cb who like to read and gamble it burns him alot but it pays off sometimes. You put a nice ball hawking safetybehind him and let him play zone hell.be fine. I like man corners the best though which is why I love jenkings for being on a island alone qith aj green and julios of the world and owning them pretty good

Not a surprise move. How much cap space opens up from the 4.6 he was due? Also, Im sure Moreno is next out the door, perhaps DJ right behind him. Thats a lot of cap space when you look at just those three and Dawkins was 6?
I wonder where we sit now with 13.8 and now Goodman?

the fact that we need to spend atleast 90% of the cap, we have 13 mill., and no high priced free agents left leads me to believe that moreno and dj are probably safe for now.

youll see. Elways going to bend over to make sure manning has a chance to score 35 a game. Major slurping for elway on manning. Listen to the defensive guys. We just want to play witj a lead: get ready for some shoot outs though because I dont think our run defense will be worth a damn. Were going for offense this draft early. I expect a trade back, and then a wr and rb then dt cb etc. I wpuldnt be mad at that aslong as we get defense depth after the first 2 picks

I can see Moreno getting released (if we get Lamar Miller, Wilson, etc in the draft), but I hope we keep DJ (and DJ successfully beats the suspension). He has been really good lots of times, and, yes, he can be a liability in pass coverage (i.e. Antonio Gates, etc.).

I love it when DJ blitzes up the middle and owns the QB (Philip Rivers, Caleb Hanie, etc.)

I don't think DJ needs to be here anymore. He's not all that good. In fact I'm hoping Woodyard can take the starting job away from him.

And Moreno, he's done. I hoped he would be good but we just need to draft a new RB and go our separate way.s

I actually think if Moreno wasn't hurt we would try to trade him and we still may try to but we wouldn't get anything better then a 3rd tops and that's being extremely nice. However if he could stay healthy I think Moreno would be a good #2 back/ 3rd down back its not that he is bad its more that he isn't a work horse every down tyype of back and someone drafted that high #12 overall needs to be that type of back and that's why he is a bust in most peoples eyes he had close to 1,000 yards his rookie season and that was missing a few games so the talent is there but he just can't stay healthy
