Both were pretty bad trades, but it has to be the Raiders.

Its simple...at least ATL got a good young player with upside.

They still overpaid for Julio by an astronomical amount, but at least he has upside. But, still its an awful trade as well. Unless Julio turns out to be as good as Larry Fitzgerald...this will turn out to be a pretty bad trade. But, again...its better than getting Carson Palmer. At least they got someone who has decent value...with a good amount of upside.

The only way you should give up that amount of draft picks or more...for one player is if that one player is a young, stud franchise Qb for the future.

For instance...I didn't mind the Redskins trading for RGIII. It as a risky trade, but if RGIII turns out to be a legit, top 10 Qb in the game one day in the near future...It will be worth the risk IMO.

Trading that much for a Wr is not worth it unless that Wr has a chance to turn out to be as good as Larry Fitz, Calvin, or Andre. Anything less, and its just not worth all those picks IMO.

^^ The question we must ask ourselves is, do we really feel comfortable sharing a locker room with this guy? ^^

I wish the votes were public so we could see the only people voting for the Falcons trade were Raiders fans.

I'm not a Raiders fan & despite the "potential" of Julio Jones (which can become a bad word really fast), I believe the Falcons trade was worse. How can you give up so much for a WR let alone a guy who's not even your #1 WR or the franchise?? You give that up for a potential franchise QB, maybe. But two #1's, two #4's & a #2 for a WR???Are you guys nuts???? What's the justification? Inflated numbers in a league where all the passing numbers & therefore the receiving numbers are inflated? All that & he got his against bad pass defenses & couldn't stay healthy. If the Browns drafted like Jimmy Johnson did they could have a little resurgence, while the Falcons go out in their first playoff game, as usual.

I'm not saying I like the Palmer deal, but it was two picks & done. They went for the division & he ended up playing much sooner he was supposed to. That's easier to swallow than twice the value plus for a #2 WR. Megatron & Andre Johnson were drafted straight up in the first round & our Victor Cruz was an undrafted free agent. This deal was nuts & the Raiders haters are out in full force.

No they did not! Tebow was selected with the Broncos 2nd of 2 picks in the 2010 first round. They traded up a few spots but DID NOT trade a 1st for Tebow.

They traded a 2nd, a 3rd and a 4th to move up and still had a 2nd and two 3rd's in the draft. Not even a close comparison.

The NFL uses a laughable formula to place a value on each pick according to place, when in reality the draft is a craps shoot. There are no guarantees that a 1st Rounder will be better than let's say, a 7th Rounder.. So why place a value on them? I understand the draft order but this whole notion is diluted to a fault. The following is a list of busts not taking into account the two most recent years who are in their last season of free passes. A 1st Round pick is expected to make a huge immediate impact and be considered one of the top players at their respective positions (these players are payed like 1st ballet HOFers), for 8-10 seasons. I take PSD with a grain of salt since it's filled with teenagers, clowns, and/or a combination of the two (reference the NBA Forum), but why does everyone get their panties in a bunch over trading 1st Round picks?

    * Notes: If a player is a debatable bust according to the standards associated with a 1st Rounder he should and is labeled a bust in this list. 98% of the picks in each year can be associated with the bust label.
