Rotoworld was saying that they expect him to avoid the DL. It sounds like he is only going to miss a few games.

That's good news. I can see the Catcher position being a burden later on down the road.

Or not. It looks like he is headed to the disabled list:

Rays placed C Jose Lobaton on the 15-day disabled list due to soreness in his right shoulder.
Chris Gimenez has been activated from the Triple-A DL and recalled to take Lobaton's place on the active roster.

I haven't seen too much on Gimenez so I hope he can settle in. The way Molina has played anyone better at the catcher position at this point is a plus.
