May 3rd its released
Nvm I'm stupid
It opens at 10
I looked at the bracket, and JT actually has a decent chance to win a couple of rounds. He's got Eberle now and then the winner of Patrick Sharp vs Pekka Rinne. Not exactly a cavalcade of stars
Pekka rinne > every other goalie
Even if that's true, it doesn't mean he's going to get votes in something like this
People will vote Rinne over JT so I hope Harp wins. People dislike the Hawks in America, and JT will get the Canadian vote over Sharp.
JT will eb at adisadvantage the whole time, because his fan base is so small, but since its head to head, he may have a ***. Oilers have a bigger fanbase so Eberle gets the early lead, but JT will take a majority of the rest of the Canadian vote. Canadians LOVE JT, hes a ****ing hero to them, and then in the states, I think JT will win the casual hockey fan vote as wlel. He's got a shot in the 1st round.
2nd round, will also be tough. Chicago fans will all vote Sharp, Canadian vote will go to JT, closer this time though,a nd Hawks ar eon eof those teams a lot of people dislike, so JT would win the remainder of the american vote too.
He's got a shot
Isles fans owe it to him to vote him 100 times each
Imagine the isles without JT?..... Scary
Ive voted like 10 times a day, it will be 15 tarting may 3rd
I'm going to vote like crazy too.. And I don't buy that people would vote Rinne over JT
If it was anyone other than JT I'd pick rinne
And I'd pick anyone other than Rinne
^Look at the NHL forum thread o this, a bunch of people would like to see rinne on the cover (thats die hard NHL fans though, the casual fan has no clue who rinne is)
^Which is my point. Forget the fact that I don't remember there ever being a goalie on the cover; Rinne just isn't that big of a star yet to win this kind of thing (or, in my mind, beat JT). The only goalie who has a feasible chance of winning is Lundqvist, who JT could meet up with if he goes far enough
^exactly, i could def see lundqvist winning. or datsyuk
Agreed. Could even throw Malkin in there
