    jlohm1's shredding thread

    well, i decided to make a log finally. however, i'm really bad at remembering my workouts, but i'll try my best to put them here. i'll also log my diet and supplement intake here.

    I gained 12 pounds this winter (even though i lost 8 when i had pneumonia) and i was at 15% body fat a few weeks ago. probably still at about 15. i want to get down to below 10% and get the 6 pack out for summer.

    my suppliments are Muscletech whey (as much as i hate muscletech). I also have some Myofusion too
    fish oil
    ZMA
    creatine
    Multivitamin

    yesterday was an ok diet day. still had more carbs than i wanted too.

    I did chest, biceps and abs yesterday

    bench press: 4 sets of 145. 8 reps each set
    incline dumbell bench: 4 sets of 50lbs. 10 reps each set
    machine cable fly's: 3 sets of 40. 10 reps each
    2 sets of bodyweight dips, 10 reps each

    4 sets of barbell curls (10 lbs on each side) 10 reps each

    I can't remember what it's called, but you the fly cables, have your arms out to the side and curl them in, well i did 2 sets of those, 40 lbs 12 reps each.

    abs was 2 sets of 35 crunches, 35 hanging leg raises, and 25 decline situps with 35lb weight.


    and then i just just ate a protein bar like 2 minutes ago... i'm sure it has a lot of carbs in it

    thanks man! well i just accidentally raped my diet... had 2 slices of pizza. intended to pack a lunch but at 6:45 am it didn't even cross my mind. of well, could have been worse. it was this or BK

    yea i know... but i'm trying to limit carbs. it's all good though, i'll lift tonight and maybe throw some cardio in.

    idk what my protein bar was... i know 20 grams of protein. probably a lot of carbs though.

    anyway, i did legs today. wasn't anything too impressive. i'm doing back tomorrow and i hate doing deadlifts with sore legs.

    squat. 135x10
    155x10
    185x8
    205x6
    225x6
    3 sets of 245x6

    leg press
    1 plat on each side: 40 reps (did calf with this, 40 reps)
    2 plates on each side: 30 reps (35 reps for calf's)
    3 plates on each side: 15 reps (25 reps with calf's)

    like i said, nothing impressive. i was late to the gym and shot on time also. however next week i will be doing lunges, so i will have a intense workout.

    just had a protein shake (30 grams) with some creatine and fish oil. about to take some ZMA in about an hour and head off to bed.

    Love quest bars, but I wouldn’t recommend the all-natural line ….for some reason the taste/texture of them just does not sit well with me
