Dodgers should use the money on my boy Kershaw. Lock him up now 10 years 220 million year deal. He would be 33 when he comes a free agent and probably still good as Lee is now in his 30's. Now that I think about it sign Kershaw 15 years 300 million. Taking a paycut in his late 30's. lol.

I would say that NY and Boston have 0 chance at signing him. Neither team will be able to add that kind of payroll. If Philly signs him to a big contract they will more than likely break the 189 threshold and be forced to pay a crap ton of money.

I still see the Dodgers as the clear favorites to land Hamels.

If Cole goes anywhere it will be LA, because they would appreciate his Hollywood lifestyle

well the sox do have 37 million in payroll coming off the books around 49 million if they do not bring back youk on his option, which is looking kind of likely, especially if middlebrooks continues success at AAA
Jackie Bradley Junior.... that is all

Yes because Theo has a very long and successful history signing long term contracts for big money.

haha, i think it would be in the cubs best interest to stand pat and build the farm up, trade garza at the deadline and start bulding, spend in 2014-1017

I don't think the time is right for the Cubs to add via free-agency. I believe Epstein wants to build from the farm up like he did in Boston.

A team that usually spends money might go after a good free agent......no way.

Dice K and Ortiz and Youklis and Cody Ross and Jenks can leave the team with Middlebrook and Lawansky in the minors to DH and 3rd base. Redsox have plenty of offense and need pitching.
