I can't wait to see how the Blackhawks play the first game against the Coyotes. The Yotes play a style that the Blackhawks have struggled against all year...but in the playoffs when the intensity goes up, everyone tightens up their game, I'm hoping the Blackhawks can take advantage.

I also have no idea what the lineup is going to be. Toews/Bolland? Then Frolik, Bollig, Hayes...?

Also...who is the #6 dman? Lepisto, Olsen, or O'Donnell?

    Should be interesting.

The key to beating M Smith is 2 men near the crease. He is vulnerable on side to side action. So if the Hawks keep the pressure on in front of the goal, they should advance.

It is so great that we can ask that question of the 6th man, not of who should be the 3rd pairing. Love Oduya.

Does anyone think Toews will be available this series?

Thursday can't come soon enough. Also I think Jonny will be in there this series, not sure if he'll be good to go for game 1 though.

Go Bears, Blackhawks, Bulls, Cubs, and Illini!

A few weeks ago I would have said of course, but the reality is the concussion is a unknown. Jesse Rogers said he's skating with Kane and Hossa. I take that as a good sign because this is the first time he's been out there with top guys, which makes me think he's going to play. Also, read that again. Kane/Toews/Hossa. That should be interesting. Hossa and Kane normally play the same wing usually.

I would think that means Toews is going to be playing for game 1. Might be reading too much into it, but who knows. I mean, why put Kane on the left wing in practice if he is going to be playing center in a game (he would play center if Toews wasn't available). That would hurt Kane and how he prepares for the playoffs.

Looks like Brunette will be taking a seat then? Hoping Toews/Bolland are 100% and ready to go.

Hawks in 6 with Toews, Hawks in 7 without him. We can beat them the way we're playing without him right now. I just hope Smith doesn't stay on fire.

Hawks in 6 seems reasonable. Hopefully Toews gets back into a groove. Pumped about this series and thankfully I'll be able to watch it after a 12 hour work day. Gonna need a case of redbull.

Looking more and more like Toews will be playing.

Honestly...I'm not a fan of the Kane/Toews/Hossa line. I don't like putting Kane on the left wing when one of the strongest parts of his game is pulling up on the offwing just inside of the blueline and making magic happen from there. I would have liked to see Toews between Sharp/Hossa with Kruger going elsewhere. Maybe this means Brunette won't be ready to go though?
