That stuff on Lucic was a complete and utter joke. Cross check from behind, and then Lucic and whoever the hell it was wanted to go - Refs really felt the need to get in between? Why? I've noticed this happening nonstop in the Playoffs so far. If two guys want to go, let them go. Loved the (Basically) third man in with the sleeper hold on Lucic, too. Really, really pathetic.

There is nothing more cheesy and childish looking when a player is willing to talk trash or make hand gestures when he's far away from a player. 1 fighting major all year from this dude..come on..

I know that it means that its an automatic suspension, but I doubt they uphold that. It'll be appealed and probably rescinded. He definitely cross-checked him but had Peverley left his hands down he would have got him in the chest. He kind of bounced up his hands and into his head. I think that would be a silly suspension, especially considering what other people have gotten away with...

I dont know, every analyst on tsn says he should be suspended, only person so far that doesnt think so has been Dale Hunter.....but then again hes a star player...if this was alzner or chimera they would def be suspended.

Just a dumb play overall, if they lose their top centre for a game that might be costly

typically it's an automatic suspension.. Backstrom was unbelieveably stupid to pull that... If he doesn't play, the Bruins will have one less guy to defend.. and If Washington can't pull out game 4, they can pretty much blame Backstrom for losing this series.
