thanks to crossingbroad, a collection of pump up videos for the game today
Just bought two tickets in the upper level (end where Flyers shoot twice) for under 200 bucks, and there are SROs on StubHub for 65.
Wow, Penguins fans suck...but we knew that already.
Anyway, I'm excited as hell. This'll be my first game since December '08 (a 7-1 drubbing of the Caps in Philly), and my first time at a playoff game.
Eight hours until go-time.
**** working second shift. **** **** mother ****.
Thank god for DVR though.
PHILLIES EAGLES FLYERS SIXERS
i still just hate matt cooke ... he is the dirtiest player in the league ... i dont care if he 'reformed' or not ... when he scores its like watching barnaby or avery score on us ... i got a little venom going over here. sorry if that one offended anyone ... that guy shouldn't be in the nhl or he should be on phoenix
I agree with all of castan_b's keys to the series especially number 1 .
I' was thinking about just keeping this one game thread and let it grow epically. Updating it seems pretty appropriate as well, then.
It begins today. Let's get the Cup fellas!

Why in the world is Bourdon starting over Kubina?
City of Brotherly Love
Seriously. Lilja is also starting. We quickly went from 6 deep to 4 deep on the blue line.
Ugh. I wonder if I can resell my ticket.
(Kidding. But still.)
I'm wondering if I should do the reverse playoff beard? I usually have a beard and I'm thinking I should shave it everyday until the playoffs are over?
I just want to see the guys and come out ready to play. They cannot fall behind early in the game....or even a 2-0 hole...they cannot spend too much time and energy trying to comeback on Pittsburgh....They have to establish their game early on and take it to them....
The defense has to play under control and maintain their position in the zone....Bryz just has to make the stops he's supposed to make and even then some he wasn't...
If that happens....the Flyers take Game one
We need to pound Crosby w/o getting penalties and keep our young two way forwards out of the penalty box.
