Well you know how this team is with moving position players around the field. I would like some stability but I dont even think DD knows what direction he's headed.

    CHRIS TILLMAN

    IP: 6.67

    H: 1

    R: 2

    BB:. 1

    SO:. 7

    Pitches: 107 (64 Strikes, 43 Balls)

Hmm..this is starting to get interesting. Look at his strikeout to walk ratio, it has been down for the past 4 starts, he continues to look dominant. Wonder how long we'll wait.

I also saw that he didnt give up a hit until the sixth inning. I think he needs at least one more start before he get the call up but he is definitely catching my eye.

I hope the O's never have to call up Moyer or Tejada. I don't think they will, I just hope it never comes down to that.

Tillman's velocity is reportedly up, which is the biggest thing for him. The door is open with that 4th and 5th spot in the O's rotation so ugly right now. But it seems that Eveland will be in the rotation for now, and they're prepping Miguel Gonzalez for that role.

Britton's velocity has apparently been a bit down.

Eveland has impressed the hell out of me, i don't know about you. Not sure if he'll work as a starter or not, but as a long man, I like him quite a bit.

Tillman's command has been a worry from me in recent years, that looks a lot better so far this year.

Tillman is the guy im most interested in. Ive always thought he would be a good starter if he could have control of his pitches. Basically Edwin Jackson 2.0.

Agreed 100%. He has really stepped it up, I like him quite a bit.

Moyer has been dominating down in the minors too, I could see him getting the call if our #4/5 starters keep struggling.

I would much rather see Tillman than Moyer. I just don't believe he can get ML hitters out.

According to mlb network. Moyer has asked and has been granted his release.

havent looked up his stats this year, but I remember reading an article saying he wasn't blowing away anybody in AA only being 19, but he was holding his own. I think it would be wise to bring him along slowly because we already have JJ at SS and although he isn;t on a homer binge like last year, at least he plays good D.

We need to make sure Machado experiences a lot of success at every single level of the minors and have as few holes in his game as possible.

I'd rather promote Bundy again than move Machado to AAA.

    Edit:

here are his stats. He is hitting .260. He has no business in AAA yet.

I do however, like his walk rate and the fact he is hitting a lot of doubles. He still has to grow into his frame and those doubles will eventually be finding their way oevr the fences.

He has been owning double a lately. His past 2 weeks have been insane. I'd have no problem with him getting promoted.

^What he said. Machado has been raking lately, I could see it happening.
