I came to this thread a bunch of times today but never posted because I had nothing good to say.
Coach said he doesn't blame the loss on the blown offsides call. Glad he said that. Don't stir up any feathers.
I'm by no means happy we lost but the one good thing that can come of it is this.

Now this team realizes they are by no means indestructable. They can't get away with playing halfassed hockey and expect to still win. Despite being 4 and 5 seeds, IMO, Philly and Pitt are the two best in the East and the winner of this series will probably represent in the finals.

Lick your wounds, be thankful this didn't happen in a closeout game, be mindful that it's a long series and chances are, we're going to steal a game in this series too. maybe not the same way, but one where they may control most of the game and we get a couple of scrappy goals in the middle of a Philly fury.

Tomorrow is most important. Can't go to Philly down 2-0 and I think even more so, we need to control 2 periods of the game like they did to us.

Very well said King. I really hope this does serve as a wakeup call to the team. Just like Philly needs to play better at the beginning, we need to play better down the stretch
