That sucks. I don't know what the timetable for his return is, but hopefully he comes out of the gates hot next year.

Well grant green played SS today and went 3-5 and had 2 doubles. Hes batting .292 down there which is higher then a couple of players down there that have played in the majors. I say we give him a shot and see what he brings. maybe he isnt that bad on defense and learns the position a little more and hopefully he can bring a spark with his bat. Id love to see him up and producing and us not having to trade away key pieces for a ss

Brad Peacock also pitched 6 innings of ball with no earned runs. Nice to see a good start out of him even though his ERA is still above 6

Am I the only one who thinks that is a terrible list?
As of this season, it blows. Peacock and Cole need more time to develop, gray will make AAA next year, and we'll see if choice recovers from the wrist

I was thinking the reason it looked so bad was that it might be an old list (because that ranking would have made more sense before the season started), but it has Freitas on there who we acquired in the Suzuki trade, so it must be current. Apparently, nobody from the most recent draft is in the top 20 in our system lol. Russell would make the list on potential alone. Either this guy wasn't including players that were just drafted on purpose, or he's an idiot. Judging by the order of some of those (most notably Straily #9 and Head #20), I'm leaning towards idiot.
Graham Godfrey, designated for assignment last week, cleared waivers and was assigned back to Triple-A Sacramento. Godfrey is 9-2 with a 3.29 ERA with the River Cats, who are nearing the playoffs and down a starter after Brad Peacock went on the disabled list.

Looks like that list has finally been updated:

Green is still too high though.
okay so this is going to sound like a dumb question possibly but where is staily? why isn't he on the A's 40 man roster?
