    Four Minutes Workout!

So i've been doing this since my roommate introduced it to me during our hectic finals week couple weeks ago. Basically, they are:

Step 1: 15 Basic Jumping Jacks
Step 2: 15 Body Weight Squats
    Step 3: 15 Push Ups
Step 4: 15 Lunges for each leg

Just do all 4 steps in a span of 4 minutes. I usually is able to do 2-3 rounds of it within the set period or seconds above the 4 minute mark. First time I did this, holy crap! I've been addicted to it ever since, doing 2-4 times a day and doing it one time prior to my running schedule.

If anyone tried this before, what is opinion about it? Btw, my friend got this from someone else, so if anyone know's the name of this workout, let me know.

Well, the workout I stated above is not for fast results, mainly for people who doesnt have enough time to get out there and work out.

A workout like that is similar to a tabata workout. These workouts are supposed to be really intense and good for fat loss.

The original tabata protocol was 8 intervals of 20 seconds all-out intensity exercise followed by 10 seconds of rest.

I've heard of tabata traing with sprinting, cycling, and kettlebell stuff as the exercise. You could do squats/lunges/kettlebell swings/burpees/sprinting whatever you want really as long as the exercise portion is all out intensity.

You're not going to burn (m)any calories in four minutes.

There aren't any shortcuts to working out.
