just as an addition to KJ's injuries, because i don't believe i saw it, Danny Briere will miss the last 3 games of the season with back spasms.

i am officially concerned. back spasms are a lot different than back bruises, and i know this from experience. back spasms are just about the worst pain you can feel. you get locked up, you can't move well, and in severe cases you almost feel like you can't breathe without something hurting like hell.

in my 3 bouts with severe back spasms, i didn't feel 100% for 2-3 weeks. the worst part about them is that you have days during that span where you feel pretty good, but one quick or sudden movement could set them off again.

so depending on the severity of the spasms, this could cause him to miss some playoff time.

again, it depends on the severity. sometimes your back can just lock up on you for a couple days and feel fine after that. other times it takes its good old time releasing itself from the spasm.

hopefully Danny B can recover, recover fully, and be back in time for the playoffs. this is NOT an injury you want to come back from early and re-aggravate.

philly...I might be inclined to suggest a signature upgrade for you to have Lavi's bench spaz fit............just for the remainder of the regular season and round 1 at least

I'm just strictly using yahoo's injury reports since that's the only one I can seem to find that lists them. They seem to be pretty up to date but don't have Danny's.

They play BOS tonight so it will be interesting to say what BS Sid will be shovelling post game when they pull the same slash, punch, chip, cheap shot, whine, cry, whine some more **** against Boston. Is he going to say that they dont like Boston and the Bruins bring out the worst in them as well?

Can you add a sound bite as well of Mike Milbury calling in this morning to tell Dan Blysma to take off his skirt?

so pissed. was looking forward to seeing the first NYR game with Coburn, Kubina, and Grossmann in uniform. I wanted to see the difference in net presence, goalie protection, rebound maintenance, and battles won behind the goal line. Because it was going to be huge difference.

Maybe we'll see them in the playoffs

i do find it interesting that not ONCE have the Flyers played the rangers at full or even close to full strength this year.

It's like we're trying to spot the opposition an early lead every game. It's incredible how many points we have despite how often we fall behind.
