Calm down with the cap hit crap. JT's cap hit goes from 3.75 to 5.5. Nielsen's goes from .55 to 2.75. Okposo and Grabs are 5.8 together. Nino is still 2.795 or something like that. Mac will get an extension and raise soon. Streit is still 4.1 and DP is still 4.5

Parenteau is gonna get a big pay day, we have DP and Yashin on the books, and were only losing the contracts of Eaton, Mottau, Stasios, Jurcina, Pandolfo. Nothing big.

Pay roll will be near the cap flor next year with a few empty spots.


There is a 100% chance Garth Snow will have converaations with both Ryan Suter and Zach Parise's agents and there s ahell of a good chance both will get offers, and there's a good chance we'll offer a whole lot of money, maybe more than other teams.

Yeah its didappointing no big FA's come here, but its not like we arent trying. last year we went all in for Ehrhoff and came out empty (thank god, would have been one ofthe worst contracts ever) and 2 years ago we went all in for Kovalchuk and for Paul martin. Not like we dont try in free agency. If they'd sign, wed be above the cap floor.

Being at the cap floor is only a problem if were a team thats youre not rebuilding and not contending. Were rebuilding and closer to contending than many think, the cap floor isnt a problem
