2012 Vent Thread- For when you just need to

I'm a regular at other teams / sports
and yes there is always 2-3 x the amount of activity when losing.

It's just how it is. People are like that in real life too though. We complain outwardlymore so than we do compliment something someone.

Cool. I was in Monte Vista Colorado (bowling tournament this weekend). Back on track I see, that's cool. I'll have to do a song about it if they can keep going. My hope is that the song fired them up, maybe it did if they saw it who knows? Chipper sure has fired the team back up. They just looked dead. I'll be going to 2 of the 3 games at Coors Field this year so hopefully they'll at least stay hot through that time. Yeah, anger rages within me when they lose that's all. And I can't forget last season, I don't think I ever will. They all just quit on us. You could tell they quit just by looking in the dugout or listening to their postgame dejected talk. I regret some of the stuff I did after last September, I got rid of a ton of clothes and Braves stuff I had. I busted all kinds of sh8*. I've never been so furious except maybe in 96 losing to the Yankees. I just don't expect much from them anymore and am tired of being let down, that's all.

Constanza, Wilson, Diaz, Francisco......When will Wren wake up and fix this bench? It's bad enough that Freeman, Bourn and Uggla have been struggling. But we can't continue to rely on the aging, ever-ballooning Hinske all the time. Spend a little money and get some guys or just dump these four and pull up some guys from the minors. Our bench should be a revolving door until we can find a cheap combination that works, or, at the very least, does not continue to fail miserably night in and night out.

How do you get a back up SS better than Wilson? It's not a position where offense is valued. You'd rather have a decent fielder like Wilson backing up Rev.

Constanza was sent down, so I don't see an issue there.

The jury is still out on if Diaz's only weapon (ability to hit LHP) is gone or not.

Francisco came cheap, and there is so hope for him. He doesn't seem to be suited for the bench, but we can't send him down.

I truely think the Braves need him to succeed ( Francisco)..... Not just for us to have a strong bench.... But in my mind FW has plans to move him and a young pitcher for our next CF'er. So we need this young cheap 3B man and Del to do well. very well! I still want Adam Jones! Or a SS I supose.

Francisco will get every chance to be a valuable member of this team to drive up his trade value. He could ( and hope this doesn't happen) have an Uggla like first half and he'll still get plenty of chances in the 2nd half of the season.

Gentleman. I need some words of wisdom outside of my irrational fantasy baseball mind. (I apologize if this isn't the best thread, I saw the word 'vent' and went with it) My boy Jair Jurrjens is off to a slow start and i've been hold my finger over the drop button for the last two starts but there's something in me that telling me not to. I know he's been injured and I know he's only had three starts...but what i need is some reassurance.

What are your thoughts on this guy pulling through this season and putting together a solid season. Im not suggesting he even puts up the numbers he had prior to his injury, but does this guy have it in him to stay healthy for the year and give me something solid (fantasy-wise) ? like, what are your honest thoughts on my boy here?

I'd drop him because even if he does return to pre injury form he's not going to strike out many or go deep into games (the two categories that matter most)
