Rice or Forte. Gotta catch the ball in this league, son.

Maurice Jones-Drew. Durable, consistent, and effective. Any back that can win the rushing title on a Blaine Gabbert offense can play on my team.

I think its Mccoy easily. Its one RB to build a franchise around. With that said Mccoy is 23 hes close to 2 years younger then Foster, and Forte. Hes also missed less games so health wise hes good.

What part of after 10 years do you not understand?

How many RBs even last 10 years these days? LT fell off after what, 5 or 6 years? Shaun alexander, jamal lewis, terrell davis, how many of them lasted more than 5-6 years?

Furthermore, he only quit because he was clearly with a franchise who had no goal in winning, their only goal was to make as much money as possible. And he wasn't the type of player to demand a trade.

All these are qualities you WANT out of a RB to start a franchise, he won't leave for another team if things don't go his way, he's not a primadonna, and he won't get injured because no one can hit the godamn man.

The way I see it, you could go with a different RB, and 6 years down the road you won't have one anymore because he'd be worn down, or you can take Barry, and if your team sucks, he's gone after 10 years, but if you actually focus on winning, he'd probably stay for ~15 years.

You'd be hard pressed to find any backs that can produce for 10 years, let alone still have any gas to go even further.

Today? Trent Richardson. RBs have such short shelf lives these days...
