Lucky goal, but the kid deserves it. He creates all these beautiful chances with his speed, but gets his only two goals via a bounce off a defenseman's skate and a defenseman falling down and coughing up the puck in the crease.

The offense has looked even better after the goal. We're getting more space in the Florida zone now and the Panthers aren't getting their sticks on the puck nearly as much as they were in the first period.

I don't know how Clemmensen is failing to cover up the puck on some of these shots. Simmonds basically pushed the puck to him and it still ended up coming out through traffic.
