He just is not an nfl qb. If you could covert him to a te or something where his emotional presence is still felt, but not him nipping at fitz's heels to get in. But basically the only positive is his fan base, and his emotional leadership.

If you convert him to Wildcat QB/TE he probably has tremendous value. But the scale tips when you factor in the media circus that follows. Tebow's career is akin to Black Friday shopping. There's good value to be had if you know what you're doing, but all things considered it isn't worth it because it's ruined by stupid people.

You'd be on the hook for over a million in 2012 and 6 in 2013 and 7 in 2014

Talk about WOW, thats bad .... or any other smiley face you guys use...

Brad Smith..DYNAMIC?!?!?!?! WHAT?!?! Maybe dymanic means something different meaning to me..Since I watch the games, I'll let you in on a little sercet, Brad Smith, don't return punts for the Buffalo Bills!!! In 91 career games, he has TWO...1...2 punt return

As far as Special Teams Dynamo, returning kicks, he was 87th in the NFL in avg return. He had 15 returns all season. 18.8 avg Dynamic??

    WR. 23rec 280yds 1td
    RB.. 20rush 87yds 1td
    QB 1 att 0comp 0td 1int

Brad Smith signed a 4 year $15.5 mill contract. That's $3.875 mill per year.

If Tebow is sooo overrated, and bad and AWFUL..He can't play at all.. SO take the 4th RD pick the Bills got from the Ravans for Lee Evans.

    He's cheaper then Brad Smith...
    2012: Tebow $1.942.5 mill...B Smith $3.875 mill
    2013: Tebow $2.266.75 mill...B Smith $3.875 Mill
    2014: Tebow $2.590.5 mill ($567.5 guaranteed) B Smith $3.875 Mill.

Plus Tebow was given his big bonus at the beginning of the 2011 season. So the rest of his contract is 1.9, 2.2 and 567k guraranteed. His contract jumps in 2013 if he plays 70% of the offensive plays and they make the playoffs..OK I'll sign up for that..but $4.66 million over 2012, 2013 and 2014 guaranteed is cheaper then Brad Smith, his 2 TDS and $11.6 million left on his contract. $6.97 million cheaper!

Tim Tebow would be a REAL wildcat threat, not a run first, run second, run third option like Brad Smith, who's only pass was an INT! And if Fitz goes down, he would be a better back-up then Tyler Thigpen.

I would like to see the Bills be in the news a little. Bring something else to the city of Buffalo, other then..WHEN ARE THEY MOVING!! And Tebow's Jersey sells would pay his salary the first hour they went on sell.

Hellll no. Are you joking? Most of America hates Tebow and his game. There is no way any Bills fan wants or will pressure the staff to start Tebow over Fitz. And, its just that....we have Fitz at QB, not a duo of Kyle Orton and Brady Quinn to choose from. You won't find one person (if you do I applaud your efforts) that would take Tebow to start over Fitz.

Gailey will get creative with this guy. I wouldn't be surprised to see him develop into a good QB under Gailey's tutelage.

He's still young and he has proven he can win in this league. Get him a good QB coach who is willing to work with him and I think Tebow will continue to prove people wrong.

Thats what Im saying. The guy has shown he can get it done when he needs to. Gailey has made something out of Kordell Stewart and Tyler Thigpen. He could work with Tebow after some time of getting a system with him. He won't have any affect on Fitz, except maybe pushing him. Anyone who thinks that Fitz isn't our starter or will be threatened by someone else (not named Brady, Manning, Rodgers, Brees etc) is mistaken.

100% Agree with this statement.... the ignorant Buff fans will want Fitzmagic's head the first bad game he has... no way do we want the crazy time that would ensue.

When I referenced Brad Smith as dynamic, I was referencing what he's done with his career and not just his stint in Buffalo.

118 rushing attempts, 87 receptions, 2 punt returns, 89 kickoff returns, 8 pass attempts. That last stat should tell you just how different he is from Te-blow. In his first two seasons, he had 353 pass attempts. He has no receptions, no punt returns, no kickoff returns and 165 rushing attempts. Sell someone else that he's a better option than Brad Smith, because I'm not buying it.

One more thing Okeejoe and we can put the Brad Smith versus Tim Tebow thing to rest. Your cost figures are not correct. You cited what players are going to cost against the cap for their respective teams as we sit here today. If Tebow gets traded from Denver, they would absorb the cap hit for the bonus they paid him. The Bills would pick up his salary for 2011, which would be $1.1 million. Trading or letting Brad Smith go would accelerate the remaining bonus accrual or $3.5 million. So doing math:

Bills cap hit for getting Tebow - $1.1 million + $3.5 million = $4.6 million
Bills cap hit for keepting Brad Smith - $3.75 million

    I.e., not going to happen.

You're giving Bills fans way too much credit. They've called for every QB post-Kelly to be benched. Every one of them. I **** you not, there were fans crying for Thigpen to start last year after Fitz hit the skids. Yes, they will pressure the team to start Tebow at the first sign of failure from Fitz, and they'll use arguments like "6-game winning streak" and "playoff win vs. Steelers" to back it up. What about Denver's QB situation was so different from our's, exactly? They had a fringe starter and a worthless backup. Those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

I'd strongly disagree that most people can't stand Tebow. He has a huge following. True, many(like myself) aren't fans, but many are.

I don't want him anywhere near the Bills. He is absolutely not good.
