Are we not in serious trouble of even making the payoffs? Wings gotta start winning to stay alive at this point. I don't wanna see then pull a Minnesota here.

We're 8pts up on the 8th place team, the Kings, with 9 games left. I thought I read somewhere we have to get 3 pts. to secure a playoff spot. Not sure though.

On a different note; Marion Hossa got his 900th point last night

Kings are doing opposite the Wings right now, 5 wins I think? So if the trends continue (Lord I hope not) We could be in trouble. But I can't believe they won't get 3 more points. I mean 3 out of a possible 18 is completely doable.
The good new is they are 3 for 3 when I've gone to see them and I'll be there Saturday night!!

Waiver wire is pretty quiet in regards to Conks so unless a team is pulling royal mindf--k on us I think he'll be in NY tonite

    Ty Conklin with a shutout?

    And then another?

    I think so.

Lidstrom and Kindl may be back Saturday. I'm starting to be able to breathe.

Personally, I feel they have not played this bad in over 20 years. Guys, this is terribly awful. If Holland and Babcock do not hang their heads down then the problem is worse than ever. For me, I am looking forward to 07/01. They need new blood and a Semin or Parise. Forget the money. It is better than losing like this. Mike Ilitch cannot be happy.

I don't want another Franzen in Semin. I'm meaning inconsistent play.

Parise is not the answer. I don't want to overpay for a guy, who hasn't been the same player preinjury. Elias, and Kovalchuk have both been both than this guy

I kinda feel like they all played good, I dunno. Conks was actually pretty great, but then again the D was pretty on point considering. 1 point is fine I guess, but geez this woud been a great turnaround game. Please tell me Lids is in and at least running at 90% on Saturday.

I think Semin would be fine in Detroit. Regardless, offensively they need someone else. If not Semin, then Doan. No matter, they need another body on offense. I do not think it was wise to sign Bert to a 2yr deal (1yr ok), but let us see how it goes.
