Playoff Push

So as of right now the Avalanche are 7th in the Western Conference and have plenty of momentum.

Who thinks that enough momentum will carry over so we could get into the playoffs?

I think they will hang on to the 8th spot. First round exit.

Well, even a first round exit is better than last years results so...I'd be happy with that.

Hell yeah. I just wish they wouldn't have to have a late season push.
IMO Late season push = tired azz team in the playoffs

ive been keepin up with the avs but dont post in this forum cause well almost no one does lol... but yeah we need alot of wins cause we have played 1 or 2 more games than most the teams close in the standings. ginner is fitting in well tho, and varly has been a stud lately so hopefully it works out.

Yea we're dropping out. Though if we win the last few games, there's still hope. It helps Varly is playing well.

We have to depend on other teams too much IMO. I hate that. Good season either way for such a young team. Hopefully they don't trade away our best prospects.

Yea. The one person I can see them trading is Stastny though I wouldn't like it.

They are down 2-1 to the f'n Blue Jackets after the first in a MUST win game.
They also have to beat the Predators in their final game. AND THEN the LA Kings have to beat San Jose twice (once at home and once on the road)
COME ON AVS!!!!!

On the Stastny issue: That would be total Avalanche style. I hope not too.

Well, so much for that. Ohh well showed promise, and next season they should be better. Downside to this off season is no 1st or 2nd round pick. Though varley showed he could be worth it.
