Interesting. I'd like to see Anthony Pettis lose at LW before the drop. I could see Jose Aldo shooting for takedowns over and over, like in the Mark Hominick fight.

Anthony's been rumored heavily to Strikeforce, and if I were Pettis, I'd choose the FW shot. Anthony's been rumored to do plenty of things, actually.

I'd like to see BJ Penn return to LW.. in the UFC
Anthony Pettis drop to FW, instead of Strikeforce
    Gray Maynard to Strikeforce

if Pettis does not stay in the UFC LW divison.

why would anyone want to go to strikeforce? second rate title? Gray maynard is too good for strikeforce.

Except I would favor Melendez over Maynard. Gilbert Melendez is a studly fighter and the ONLY guy I see outside of the UFC that one could argue might be the best at their weight class.

The UFC almost needs him to drop to 145. Who is there to challenge Aldo right now? I guess the Poirier/Jung fight is a #1 contender fight, but I don't think either one of them really threatens him.

I'm not a fan of this move, I rather see Pettis stay at 155 whether is in the UFC or a super fight in SF.

I wonder how a fight vs Melendez would work. If Pettis wins, does he stay with SF? Or would he be allowed to comeback to the UFC and maybe unify the belts?

I know Melendez said he's fighting in May and is not going to be vs Thompson, aside from Healy (who I still don't buy as a contender) there's no else left for him to fight.

The rumor is BJ or Pettis, but I would rather see him fight Maynard or a rematch vs Guida.

Yeah I don't see why anybody would choose to go over to Strikeforce especially if you are in the title picture in the UFC.

Pettis needs to stay put. If anybody should move down, it's Frankie Edgar. Especially if he loses the rematch with Bendo

The big rumor is Gil and his team have turned down the Maynard fight, that Gil wants Bj Penn then maybe Pettis.

    Gil vs Maynard sounds good

Somebody said on sherdog that Jose Aldo was on a Brazilian talk show and made the comment that at some point in the near future he is gonna move up to 155 and that he expects very shortly afterwards that Frankie Edgar drops to 145....

I'd prefer Aldo to build a huge legacy at FW first, and defend it five more times. He's not even in his prime yet.

Well, Jose Aldo is probably moving up, because MTB is back

Well I mean we could get our cake and eat it too because he could defend it say five more times and then move up before Mike Thomas Brown possibly gets back into the title picture.

Have Aldo/Hioki and after Bendo smashes Edgar again, have Pettis/Bendo & Aldo/Edgar.
Manchester City - Baltimore Ravens - Baltimore Orioles - Brooklyn Nets
