Guys like Roddy, B-Marsh, V-Jax provide better vertical threats, better hands and just make catches that get you of your seats. Im not hating on Nicks but top 5?? Cmon now
You need to realize that "top 5" is an "inflated" term in the senses that: 1) there is a significant drop off after the top 3 and 2) The talent level of the next 10 or so Wide Receivers is EXTREMELY close and debatable. The term "top 5" when it applies to Wide Receivers shouldn't be looked at as some holy grail of rankings because receiver 4 and 5 are pretty much on the same level as 14 and 15.

I'm going to disagree with your assessments of Roddy and VJax also, but I don't have time to go into detail about it right now as I need to get ready to head out.

Everyone gets so obsessed with top 5 lol.

For Wrs there is a top 3 that is better than the rest.

For Qbs there is a top 3-4...and then another 2 that I view as better than the rest.

The number 5 is just a number lol.

    Oh look a cowboys fan.

The "2nd receiver" isn't a position in football.

I'm going to assume you're talking about Victor Cruz and he saw 360 out of 770 snaps in the slot. A role that made Steve Smith of the Eagles a 100+ catch, 1200+ yard receiver.

Okay I seriously have to go... but enjoy ripping my list apart

I think Megatron is number 1 overall. I think Nicks is way too high. I think Wayne is on his way downhill.

Instead of doing straight 1 through 20, you might as well put them into categories just like everyone does with QBs because people will argue about one part of a WRs game/resume and overlook the other.

Steve Smith is very underrated imo. He's in my top 5.

Not to mention when we had a decent OC Bowe had 15 td's. I think only Fitzgerald and Calvin Johnson have gone for that many in a season.

and i just checked Larry's highest is 13
    My list is something like

    1a,b,c Fitz, Megatron, Andre Johnson
    4. Roddy White
    5. Dwayne Bowe
    6. Brandon Marshall
    7. Hakeem Nicks
    8. Mike Wallace
    9. Reggie Wayne
    10. Steve Smith
Your logic goes both ways. Hakeem Nicks has had some viable options opposite of him. Bowe doesn't. That means Bowe gets a lot more targets and don't come up with "That means Bowe gets more attention" because Nicks gets double teams every game.

How about the fact that Nicks has been injured his entire career yet he's still put up similar numbers?

But hey, Andre Johnson and Megatron have great QBs so they're not that great right? Yeah you said "I never said that"...but you stopped there. Where's the line drawn? At what point does it not matter what type of QB you have?

So when an Eagles fan asks whos the top 10 RBs are, that means he's showing off how good LeSean McCoy is?

When a Saints fan asks about the top 10 QBs, he's showing off how good Brees is?

When a 49ers fan asks for the top defenses, he's showing off how good their defense is?

If so, and if you're an Eagles fan, you are not allowed to ask who the top RBs, QBs, and DEs are correct?

All Giants fans are homers...their entire team is lucky.

    Except their D-line.

Doesn't say much, DeSean isn't that good a receiver.

I've followed him since high school where I played against him a couple of times. He then went on to my college, where he was my favorite player.

I can say he has not improved one bit. Route running? Still piss poor. Hands? Still below average. Leaping ability? Bad.

In other words he possesses no WR skills other than speed and agility.

No way in hell is Colston better than Nicks.

Colston is and always has been way overrated. Not a top 10 Wr.

And Holmes shouldn't be on anyone's list right now.

Thats a close call. I'd probably rather have Maclin though, so I agree.

I absolutely love where you have Jennings.

So tired of hearing about him talked like he's a top 5 WR, he's not.

Although I do think he's better than Roddy.
