27th in goals is ridiculous. The year before we wree in the middle of the league and outside of a really crappy 21 game stretch, we were 4th in the league in goals. Who would have guessed Reasoner, Pandolfo, Rolston, and Nino, all our forward additions, would combine for 7 goals. And the D have 13 goals total.

This team is an elite offensive team when we have KO and Neilsen and Bailey going on all cylinders. Add Strome and Cizikas and Nino and Ullstrom and Kabanov and all those guys to the mix and well be an offensive juggernaught. Our D is attrocious though.

We have 0 D prospects who project to ebfirst pairing defenseman at this point. Our D of the future is Hamonic and then a bunch of question marks. We need another top pairing dman to build around. Donovan, De Haan, Ness, Mayfield, etc are 2nd pairing dmen in the NHL

We need a defenseman in the draft, with the 4th overall pick. Or we coudl trade that pick+ for a #1 defenseman. Either way

First if this year showed anything, we may not have the offense we thought
If KO and bailey come out full throttle then way will be okay. If Grabner goes to breakaway camp then we are good too

Second. Mayfield could very well be a top 4. And pedan so far his impressed, out playing his 3rd round selection. He is mean and put up points this year. So pedan I would mark as possible top 4 as well
