    haha yeah I have a habit of hitting my shins from time to time DLing too I have bled in the gym multiple times

    That's an interesting setup with the bands. You prefer that over just adding on more weight?

    Bands have a different effect, they help you get past sticking points. More weight as you stretch them, so its a bit lighter at the bottom of the rep.
