    Crosby cleared for contact

    http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=620790&print=true

Crosby said he could play in a matter of days if there are no setbacks and the earliest he says he could play would be this Sunday, a home matinee game against the Boston Bruins, the team against which he played his last game a little more than three months ago.

Big news deserved it's own thread the Captain is on his way back great news for us Pens fans

Just saw this as well. I highly, highly doubt he would play as early as Sunday (seemed like it took him a month after being cleared last time) but regardless, this is amazing news

Can't wait for Sid to get back. Pens are on a roll right now and looking scary each night they play now.

more importantly... where does he go?
to me it doesnt matter whethers hes on 1 2 3 or 4...

Im more concerned about line combinations...
who do you move/replace, and who are the odd men out (Park? Vitale? Jeffereis?)

    I dont think you breakup
    Kunitz - Malkin - Neal.

So do you replace Staal and make
    Sullivan - Crosby - Dupuis?
    Kennedy - Staal - Cook?
Asham - Adams - ?? (Park or Vitale)

    or move Sullivan
    Staal - Crosby - Dupuis?
    Sullivan - Kennedy - Cook?
Asham - Adams - ?? (Park or Vitale)

    Maybe
    Kennedy - Crosby - Dupuis?
    Sullivan - Staal - Cook
Asham - Adams - ?? (Park or Vitale)

    I think
    Kunitz-Malkin-Neal stay together
Sullivan-Crosby-Dupuis you cant break up the first line so this should be sid's line
    Kennedy-Stall-Cook?
then the fourth line is hard to say who stays and who goes down
