Or he may call us and let us know what those bastards are offering him. That being said, good...stay in Tampa...he'll go the way of Faine.

We need a TE too and a deep threat WR may not be as important if the Oline turns out to be better at run blocking this year which is a good thing. Sproles, Thomas, Ivory, and Ingram need a little more run support and possibly this year we need to cut back on the deep ball attempts cause it takes time to develop and that puts more strain on solid blocking.

Things need to gel in our approach to signings. If we are going for a deep threat, then we need a deep ball Qb and Brees or that QB needs good pass blocking. If we are going to shift focus to running more, there is no need to put resources into WR position anymore than we have and we need to find a beast run blocker to compliment what we already have as a decent pass blocking line.

TE? John Carlson is a name that I like alot. Watched him at Notre Dame. But I think David Thomas is healthy, we're good at TE.

Of course, DT and OLB is our biggest need, I like Johnny Patrick as our nickel CB but don't rule out someone like Aaron Ross, he has ties with Steve Spagnuolo. Or maybe someone like Terrence Newman (don't go crazy) but he does have ties with Sean Payton from the Dallas days and played against Steve Spagunolo for years.

I want Jason Jones but he'll be expensive

forgot the Cardinals let RT Levi Brown go yesterday. Anyone interested in a Tackle who was solid and started every game of his career?

Jason Jones would be sexy as hell. He'd be great on the inside for us. Newman would have to get the veteran minumum. Doesn't have much in the tank I think

That intrigues me, Neo. Mainly because it allows Strief to return to being a back-up and lets us bring him in for extra blocking (I prefer him blocking over Graham).

My thoughts are after this Colston deal, the rest of our signings will be cheap. So if we realistically want to sign a DE, DT, 2LBs, a Safety, a WR, a CB, a TE, OG, and maybe a K.

I'm thinking we have about 3-5 million dollars this season to sign all those personnel.
So what kind of talent can we expect? I sure don't know, but I think Ivory makes less than a Million and he sure is a good player. I'm thinking we have the starting defense and offense in house already now so anyone else is for depth anyway. Except SS I'm sorry, but I'd really prefer if Harper didnt start at SS again, but Idefinitely want him on the team for situational plays blitzes, run calls, and special teams at a discount of course. But I'm sure Harper's thinking damn I led the team in Sacks and Tackles last season wtf! LOL

In a league that passes more and more, Harper is a liability.

Yea against the 9ers I think GW started putting Jenkins on Vernon Davis so maybe thats the way to go. Seems easier to replace FS than it is to find a better SS. I actually thought Harper should've made the Pro Bowl at SS.

I think Jenkins could be a better SS than Harper.

Reggie Wayne re-signs with Colts. That seems to go against the whole youth movement. Probably a sentimental move.

He could be, the problem is where to get another FS this offseason? There already aren't any in the draft (and we're gonna lose high picks anyway) and the free agent market for them isn't great either now that Dwight Lowery signed in Jacksonville
