Unbelievable, that's some ridiculous money. But let's remember, no Super Bowl is won in March. Remember who the winners were in last summer's free agency? The Philadelphia Eagles and they didn't even make the playoffs.

Everyone's saying that, as of right now, the Saints are predicted to finish last in the division, I tell them all to suck it!

Well if drew doesn't get a deal done he won't sign that tag and we will be last in the division. He pretty much said he wasn't signing the tag this morning on mike and mike. I hope looms and all are getting ready to make some major cuts. Sign grubbs sign brees and find some gems for the defense.

Anyone who thinks the Saints will finish last is an idiot. This team is still stacked. I like the idea of not overpaying for offensive line so we can improve the defense.

Brees making strong comments about the franchise tag. Indirectly
Says he might not play without a long term deal.

I'm not worried about Drew. We'll sign him.

Yeah, I'm not worried about Drew either. We all know he's going to stay, I just think we've got some pretty big problems on the D side of the ball. If Robinson gets hurt, or even Greer, we're ****ed. Last year we were one of the deepest teams in the NFL, this year is a complete different story. #SalaryCapProblems

While those injuries would suck, the defense can't get much worse. Cutting the dead weight and rebuilding could be the best thing for the team.

Agreed! We've got some foundation pieces, like Cam Jordan, Sed Ellis, Malcolm, Wilson and Robinson. We need to build around those guys, let Vilma, Smith, Harper go

You can add Casillas, Dunbar, Patrick and Romeus to the foundation pieces. Go young, let the kids take their lumps and slowly improve. The offense will do enough to keep us in games.

Romeus hasn't played a single game in the NFL, he's coming off major ACL surgery and will take some time. Johnny Patrick hasn't had much time either, Dunbar isn't even signed.

Casillas, yes. But the guys that I mentioned is the real young core on that side of the ball

Buccaneers reach agreement with cornerback Eric Wright. Looks like Tampa will have a very different roster. If they draft Mo Claibourne, they'll be able to cut that idiot Aquib Talib

    Cameron Jordan is awesome
