Is he gonna be double shifting? Lids is a no go, Quincey is doubtful and E is out completely. Probably shoulda signed another D-man or held on to Commie. I can only say Uh-oh.

Brendan Smith will be in the line up tonight. All I got to say its about time Smith was called up and from what I've heard is he is here to stay. Doug Janik was also recalled in-case Q doesn't play.

What happened to Lidstrom and Quincey? I missed the last game against Colorado. Did something happen to them in it?

From what I've heard Nik is out with ankle injury that happened in the Avs game and Q's has sore groin. Better to sit both at this point.

I realize no game is a given in sports and anyone can be beat on any day but this is one game I think Nick could miss and we'd be okay. That doesn't mean we are ensured to beat the Blue Jackets but I'm more comfortable him missing this game.

I like that Smith finally got another call up. I'm curious to see how he performs. I've liked what I've seen and heard so far, hopefully he continues to improve. I'd like for him to stay on the big squad.

Franzen was demoted to the third line for this game. Seems he has responded... Goal at the end of the powerplay.

    Another infamous Stuart own-goal.

I'd like to see that goal overturned, but doubt it

Another sloppy game tonight (IMO), but a win is a win. Needed the 2 points.

I agree it wasn't the best played game but 2 points are big 2 points. Hopefully Nicky and Quincy can be ready for Friday's game.

I think Smith and Janik both did well, I like how Nash can only get a goal by sitting on the goalie. 8 mil for that guy is ridiculous. Z's goal was purty.
