Grabo is worth 5 million. A top-end second line center going into his prime. You guys would rather see him walk then give him 500k-1million more then you think he's worth?

No I wouldn't. But that is what the leafs always seem to do. This team is full of guys that are over paid a little and sometimes a lot in relation to they're production. Why not call his bluff especially if he indeed wants to stay in toronto. Its time to sign these guys to club friendly contracts.

Picked 29th in the 2009 draft. I like this deal, could be a big power forward, a sniper, and has played well on big stages.

i don't see it.. think back to what burke was talking about a few weeks ago.. that he would look at moving a young player for a young player, of comparable potential but more a swap of positions... just like moving a young Dman, for a young forward...

yeah this hass to be the most publicity hes ever gotten. where was he picked in the draft?

He's sort of like a Joe Colborne to be honest. He has good size at 6"3, he's still really young too. He played last year at the World Juniors too. He has 16 goals and 19 assists in 55 games with Norfolk, Colborne like numbers.
