I dont even remember the begining name of the starters, I just remember the otter ****ing wins

Also, there were screenies with Arcanine, Lapras, Tyranitar, Absol, and Psyduck so I'm cool. They're bringing back previous gen Pokemon it seems.

Yes. Fire types have been pretty bad.

There's only one or two fire types worth a damn in the past region or two.

Chandelure was good, but looks awful.

I just want a well-designed, strong, fire type that isn't a starter or a legendary/pseudo legendary.

In the first gen, Growlithe, Vulpix, Ponyta (...and their evolutions) Magmar and Flareon were all badass.

Since then, they've given us Slugma, Camerupt, Darumaka, and Litwick+evolutions.

Houdoom+Houndour is the exception. Fire types have been weak sauce since original gens.
