Pierce is one of the best at getting to the line..

Pierce is also the better pure shooter

I've said from the beginning it takes more than advanced stats to prove Pierce better than Iverson. When it comes to Pierce and Iverson, you seem to go to advanced stats. Yet you seem to bring in other factors when it comes to other players.

Don't use advanced stats to prove 1 comparison then completely go a separate route to prove another comparison.

I used several advanced and traditional #'s..You using carmello was a bit flawed

    Lets look at best seasons..

Carmelo has 2 yrs of WS's above 8.5
Iverson has 6 seasons of WS's above 9.0

They both have the same WS/48 and if you compare both at the age of 27? Iverson>Carmello

Overall though, They arn't far off. People overrate Iverson due too making the finals in one of the weakest confrences of all time. Give carmello Mutumbo and Mcke/Snow as 2 solid role guys they make the NBA finals in that conf also.

Iverson was simply marketed too death/played in a pretty big sports town/and was flashy. Does ANY of that translate into actual production? HECK NO! I take NONE of that into consideration. Most people assume Kobe>Duncan..When I firmly believe Duncan>Kobe..

Another example KG being as washed up as he was last season was still more productive than a guy like Blake Griffin..even though most people thought just that, Kg was washed up and though Griffin was some superstar

Pierce reminds me of Duncan in that he moves soo slow but is fluid in his approach.
