Curt Schilling Says Clemens, Sosa and Bonds Should Not Be in the Hall of Fame

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zd10t...e_gdata_player

Curt Shilling will be in the half of fame ballot in 2013 along with three other guys that have been linked to steroids. The second Conan asked him a question about if those three should be in the hall of fame, he said no. Watch the video for more, it's only a minute long but it's a good one.

I liked his position on it a lot. I always hated athletes that cheated instead of athletes who had to work hard to get where they are (Bonds especially). I don't think they should be in the hall of fame either, especially when they lie about it when accused of it.

Without steroids Bonds likely would have made the HoF anyway

Hypotheticals are no excuse for voting any player in.

I agree - they cheated the sport. Don't feel sorry for any of them.

I edited my post at the same time you posted.... probably 30 seconds apart.

Which HOF'er iof the 1970s has been accused of it?
Was the accusation after his induction and was it ever proven?

No hall of fame is perfect, there is always some bad eggs in it, but we shouldn't continue that trend by putting more in it. Baseball should finally start this and regulate athletes that have been linked to HGH, steroids or any kind that gives you a distinct advantage over another athlete should be excluded out of the hall of fame. otherwise, were saying its ok to future generation players that you won't be punished for cheating.

Actually I met him last year, great and funny guy. But you of course being a giants fan will support all the wrong doings their players do no matter what.

    Some baseball fan you are.

    70's, maybe not specifically.

But Koufax, Aaron, Mays, Mantle all have admitted to using amphetamine's at several points in their careers.

Even Maris during his 61 in 61 season.
