Well considering we are halfway into Moore’s 1st year and he’s not doing all that bad (94Ks to Bums 96) and that Bumgarner is in his second full year as a starter and 3rd overall... it’s still too early.

Moore is on pace to have a better debut season though.

Not even close... Moore has an ERA+ of 88 right now and is walking over 4 batters per 9 innings (which negates some of his high strike out total). As a 19/20 year old, Bumgarner had an ERA+ of 131 and a K/BB of 3.31. Not to mention his season ended with an 8 inning 3 hit shutout in the World Series.
