I would take Matt Moore because of the contract but I think Bumgarner will have the better 2012 season.
That's a good one, I would probably take Moore, but Bumgarner is going to be great too.
I would probably take Bum in 12, and Moore after that. But it's too hard to say really.
To those that do not know mathematics it is difficult to get across a feeling as to the beauty, the deepest beauty of baseball. If you want to learn about baseball, to appreciate baseball, it is necessary to understand the language she speaks.
I agree with Jeffy. Bumgarner for this coming year and after that Moore all the way.
Well well see how moore does this year but a lefty that throws 97 with ease.ill take moore but madison is no sloutch and id take him on my team anyday
I take Moore.
Bumgarner for now. I think Moore has a very good chance of being better, but it's not like a pitching prospect has never flamed out before. Bumgarner has already been very solid in the majors.

Thisclose but Bumgarner.
Favourite Teams:
Boston Red Sox: 27-17
Indianapolis Colts: Decent draft, no new wide reciever though.
Detroit Pistons: Looking forward to the draft and whoever the new coach will be
Ottawa Senators: Down 2 to 1 to Pittsburgh, Game 4 on Wednesday Night, Game 5 on Friday Night and Game 6 on Sunday Night (If necessary)
Beautiful:

Moore is based on hype and non-performance. Moore did shutdown the Rangers, Bumgarner beat the Rangers in Texas in the World Series and shut them down as well.
Bumgarner has already proven himself in the majors, last year he started 0-8 or something, and look where he ended up. 11th in the NL in ERA. 11th in the NL in K's.
Bumgarner is poised for a breakout season. Let's see if Moore can pitch a season.

Give me Bumgarner, but it's very close.
Great question! I would take Bumgarner until Moore shows more of what exactly he can do. I am very disappointed that the Giants have not worked out an extension for Bumgarner yet.
Stats NEVER tell the whole story!
People over the age of 14 who still write "lol" should be killed
Why? It’s not the Giants MO to sign players early. Like ever.
Posey, Lincecum, Fat Slob 3B, Wilson (maybe not young anymore, but they didn’t lock him down either) Cain, etc are all young players they have not locked down.
They’ll probably loose them all too because of their piss poor management of players. Excellent talent scouts out in SFG, easily top 5 over the past few years imo, but terrible on contracts.

Sounds like someone completely unfamiliar with the giants... the giants don't offer to lock down players that are under their control. You don't do that. Pablo finally got paid with a 3 year deal. Posey is still under the team's control for quite some time, so when its his time to get paid the Giants will do that.
They locked up Tim, and now will do so with Cain. I can't name the last time the Giants lost one of their developed players to free agency... can you?
The only problem the giants have, is that they have developed so much talent that are all still young, that they can't max out everyone when their time comes up.
