Jabbar? Got the longevity, but piled up stats against garbage competition for the most part. Did not like to mix it up inside with the tough guys. Moses owned Jabbar lock stock and barrel. Jabbar didn't get steals, handle the ball or pass well until later in his career.

Russell? Played on the best teams year in and out, played for the best Coach and GM, his heart and will can't be questioned, but his offense isn't even college D2 quality these days. His offense also went down the drain when the real big guys showed up. His D rebounding was overstated by todays standards because of the poor shooting percentages and his teammates would abandon the glass at a shot and let Bill deal with it. A unique player of HIS time. All the others named above would be starting Centers today. Bill would be a back-up no shoot 4 of far less impact. How can he be best?

6/27/09: “We expect [Rondo] to play by the rules and be a leader as a point guard. We need him to be more of a leader,” Ainge said. “There were just a couple situations where he was late this year, I don’t know if he was sitting in his car, but showed up late and the rest of the team was there. We have team rules and you have to be on time. He was fined for being late, he said he was stuck in traffic, and it’s just unacceptable.”

That's why we have a bench. Also if this matchup goes on year after year I have to believe Magic figures out how to improve his D - after all he fixed his outside shooting. Also Magic will post up CP3 and light him up like a pinball machine on tilt.
