    2012 expectations for Aubrey Huff

Over the next 1-2 months, I'm going to ask you guys about your expectations for the players on this year's team. I'm going to try to get to most players on the projected 25 man roster.

We're starting off with Aubrey Huff.

    2010:

    Avg: .290, OBP: .385, SLG: .506, OPS: .891, WAR: 6.0

    2011:

    Avg: .246, OBP: .306, SLG: .370, OPS: .676, WAR: -0.6

What kind of numbers are you expecting from Huff this year? Include all relevant stats that you'd like.

Slightly better than last year but not by much. Not enough to actually help the team, but enough for Bochy to keep playing him.

Honestly I don't see him doing better than .260 at all next season. Actually I hope he does simply awful and Bochy benches him for the remainder of the season.

I don't think a .750 OPS and a .330 wOBA is out of the question for Huff which is around being an average ML bat. The problem is that I think Belt in 600 AB's could OPS over .850 and be a legit middle of the order bat this season.

With 600 plate appearances...this. However my hope is he has 200 plate appearances, with same slash line and Belt has 500 + plate appearances with a line like .295/.385/.525 and OPS of .910

At least try and have reasonable expectations of Belt.
