No. We need depth. If we made that deal, and Mario Williams were to go down again, it'd be like losing 3 players depth wise. Injuries plagued us enough last year, remember? Mario's a gamble as well. He's a top notch player when healthy, and a dominant force to be reckoned with. However, he ended up not playing a good chunk of last season. This is not a low risk - high reward situation. Mario Williams will be expensive. We have too many holes on defense to fill, and we could sign a few more players if we didn't load up on Williams salary. I'd rather see the Raiders restructure contracts, see the money they could spend on Williams salary be applied to investing in a quality secondary.Just my opinion. I could be way off.
