same. i find it makes it harder when you tap the floor because it involves more control then just letting go

It is actually easier to tap/bounce the bar off the ground. Just like Flakey said, resetting is much more beneficial. You are basically taking out the starting movement of the lift when you bounce it.

So the same guy was there today. I did chest but wrapped up with DL to try and ease back into it after my back problem, which was a fail, I went as heavy as 255 and hurt my self on a 135 cool down :/

But when I was repping 225 he starts using the station to the right(bare floor, now rubber mat) Throws on 225, metal plates of course, and does 5 reps and again punches the ground. I was smart enough to take my iPod this time. Everytime I'd go up 10 pounds or so he'd throw on 20.

So on my 3rd set of 255 he puts on..maybe 335 and does 2 reps. Then tears it down and goes to bench. Now...I know what happened..he hurt his back. I can tell because the other week I did the same thing. Boom 2nd rep, hurt, scramble to put the weights back and run away lol

ah, back issues are the worst. I recently cut squats and dl. It sucks, but I'm not trying to gimp around in 5 years. It all started because of this damn squat machine I used once. done effed up my tailbone

I was doing presses and was looking for 10 lb weights. I walk over and look to see if the smith machine has any and this old loser says to me "its common courtesy to ask someone if they are using something". She was obviously trying to be a *****, and I told her, I was just looking for weights, and it was pretty damn clear I was only looking for weights. She said something else and I just put my earphone in and walked awayl. I think she was doing squats on the smith machine with a towel wrapped around the bar. I lulled.

I feel bad.... I have been the sick guy at the gym yesterday and today. I do cough into my arm but at the same time I feel Like if someone else was doing that I would be like wtf go home bro.

This whole month of Janaury has been horrible for me everything is down and I have been missing days left and right. I missed 4 days last week because of this cold, I just got sick of being sick and chose to not miss anymore days
