Not sure where to put this but good news on Jimmy:
rotoworldRed Wings coach Mike Babcock has named Jimmy Howard has the Detroit Red Wings starting goaltender on Sunday.
Howard, who hasn't played since Feb. 2, has been taking shots since late last week. "(Playing Friday) was the goal from the start, but if Babs and (general manager Ken Holland) want to give me another day of practice, that's what the game plan is," Howard said.

I want to win the presidents trophy but at the same time I don't really care that much. It really doesn't affect us much. Even if the best chances right now are for a rangers wings cup finals, it's still an extremely slim chance of happening. Speaking of the rangers their fans seem to think they are going to come out the east winner guaranteed right now. I'm kind of hoping they lose in the first round just to shut them up lol.

What a game!!! Overall we didn't really play that well especially on defense but Macdonald and Datsyuk were just spectacular. Zetterberg also looks like a different player recently. Too bad Filppula isn't doing much anymore.

I used to be terrified of McDonald getting a start in the net and now it feels good to know that we have or appear to have a legit back up goalie behind Jimmy.
