I can't believe no one commented on the game lol. I think Macdonald was pretty good, the first goal was just a great move by Gordon, and i missed the second goal so can't comment there.

Wings seemed kinda sloppy and maybe a bit lackadaisical, might have underestimated the 'yotes.

It was the typical "we make a couple of mistakes the other team capitalizes and then we go snakebit on offense" game.

Some of the team forgot their was a game tonight as well. You are excused lol.

I know there are some injuries, but I am kinda worried about this team. The streakiness is what worries me. They go on these ultra hot streaks, then **** the bed for a few. Also, it's great the team can dazzle in the shootout, but that is not going to be a factor in the playoffs.

Wings outshot the 'Yotes 31-23. And yes, it was 2-1 with 29 seconds left. But this is the 10th place team in the conference. What happens if Jimmy pulls a groin in the first round and misses a couple of games??

Mac did ok, it's gotta suck going form the AHL to starting an NHL road game. It's not like the Wings didn't have there chances last night, just couldn't solve Smith. Let's not forget PHX just whooped SJ too, so it's not like they are just playing out the season and moving on. Babs shoulda played the usual lines from the get go. I know the mix up worked for EDM, but this was a whole new game. I didn't catch it, but what happened to Stu?

Looks like the Oilers woke the Wings up in the third. Detroit has found that other gear, it appears.

Anaheim is giving Detroit a run tonight. Good thing they can't hit the net. I sure hope all these goal posts and cross bars that our guys keep hitting don't come back to haunt us.
