So they don't say it more for white defensive players?

I bet if I searched the reports on a main site right now we see it far more for white players than black yet the number of each would not be in line with that.

I don't know how saying it for 2 guys, one of which was draft 2 years ago all the sudden makes my point invalid.

Well you did say "never", so I was responding to that. And I had very little interest in formulating an extensive list to thoroughly disprove your point, so I just listed a couple off the top of my head. And off the top of my head I would disagree, but if you wanted to look into it you may be correct.

    Here, let's go.

    Nationalfootballpost reports.

    Coples

Plays the game with bad intentions in pursuit, his motor is a bit inconsistent, but he likes contact and works hard to chase the football and create collisions.
    Cox

    No mention

    Crick.

Works hard to play the piano down the line and has a motor that runs non-stop.
    Cam Johnson

    Exhibits a good motor.
    Mercilus

    None

    Branch

    None

    Crawford

    None

    Curry

    None

    Jones

    none

    Crawford

    none

    Bequette 2 for 2

Demonstrates a great motor and works hard in pursuit and most of his outside pressures come off his motor/power and not first step burst.
    Guyton

plays with a mean streak and has a good motor in pursuit. Isn't an overly sudden lateral athlete,
    Paige-Moss

    questionable motor as a junior
    Vernon

Keeps his motor running and uses his upper body strength to fend off blocks and close on the play.
    Miller

    None

    Wolfe 3 for 3

A high motor, had working kid who finds the football and uses his length to make plays.
    Ingram

    Solid motor
    Upshaw

    Good motor
    Perry

    None

    McClellin We're batting a thousand

explosive athlete with a mighty motor
    Irvin

    Demonstrates good motor
    Lewis

    Good motor
    Burris And again

a great motor and a lot of explosive elements to his game
I might have missed some "pass rushers" but I didn't skip anyone intentional and didn't skip any that were high on the OLB or DE ranks that I call pass rushers.

Every single white guy had a high motor, in fact usually they went beyond just good motor like you saw with most of the rest.

I'm not crazy, I shouldn't say we "never hear it" for black athletes but maybe I should have said not as much or far more with white guys. I don't think it's that black athletes have lesser motors, it's just a huge cliche for white pass rushers.

Here I'll break it down again.

White pass rushers and how their motors were described.

has a motor that runs non-stop.
    Demonstrates a great motor
explosive athlete with a mighty motor
    a great motor
    Black pass rushers.

    Exhibits a good motor.
    good motor in pursuit
    Solid motor
    Good motor
    Demonstrates good motor
    Good motor
But yeah, nothing to it right?

Melvin Ingram has "a good motor". Maybe that's because he has white guy sized arm length and speed.

Love the internet GM's who get so on board with arm length. Long and Thomas have short arms and are two of the best OT's. I remember Bulaga got this alligator arms title too yet Jake and Joe were both shorter....funny how the sheeple eat that up.

    I think he's a 34 rush backer so...

    Melvin Ingram 31.5

    Clay Matthews 32.25

    Cam Wake 32.5

    Tamba Hali 30 3/8-inch

    Woodley 32 7/8ths

    Brooks Reed 32 1/4

(Just for fun) Jared Allen 32 inches even

Just some guys I googled off the top of my head. He isn't that far behind. In most cases it's 3/4 of an inch. I don't think that kills you. He's only a half inch off the 2011 sack leader. I mean look at Hali and he's barely off on Reed or Clay.

Yeah, it def helps to have long arms bc of leverage. However, if you're explosive etc etc(im lazy ) it doesnt really matter.

Anyways what I came here for- what program do you think has the most players drafted?

Struggling to decide between LSU, Bama, and yes, Miami.

I'm just pointing it's not the end all.

Are you talking for this year?

They won't get it, but you're missing a team that could be right in on that conversation.

Boise. They have 6 locks and Moore might make 7.

That's pretty ****ing good for Boise State. (I think it's 7).

    Martin
    Illoka
    Winn
    Crawford
    Potter
    Moore
    McClellin

Hmmm, yeah. I don't think Boise will get it, it's just kinda nuts how many prospects they have.
