I'd say he is. Batum has taken his game to another level, we need to get him an extension over the summer. Now that Batum has shown that he can also play the two-guard, it makes his value even better. Next off-season will be critical, we need to re-build around Aldridge and Batum..

eww you would put wes or nolan in there? Nolan has looked solid in limited him. Calderon cannot play d at all, but neither can felton so its a wash there

and i think i would rather have the cap space for the offseason then calderon. if nothing happens with that then you can use it in a trade for a player

If Deron Williams was a legit option I would say save the cap space. I just don't see it though. I think he wants his cake and to eat it too. In other words I think he wants lots of media in a big market and to be a winner. Now we can offer him chance at winning, but we are not big enough for his liking.

yeah Deron wont come here, especially with NJ moving to brooklyn. I have no idea who is gonna be a FA this summer, but i think i like having the cap to use on a FA or a trade later on. Calderon wont change much this season anyway

Calderon would be a smart move because he would be great for easy buckets, the blazers are definitely lacking a good passer. I agree that the issue would be the 1st rd pick because this is one of the deepest drafts in a very long time. I doubt the blazers part with a first rd pick unless they are going after a star

If holding felton for summer FA, this is a list of who i think the blazers would target for PG kirk hinrich, chauncey billups and mo williams has a player option which i believe he opts out
In my opinion that is the list of pg's the blazers would chase, none of those are better passers than calderon but all are probably better scorers.
